The lady who checked us in was very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
The complimentary happy hour was a good opportunity to meet others staying at the hotel and the ambiance was nice, we sat on a sofa by the fireplace. The staff were VERY friendly and accommodating.
The breakfast was excellent.
The room was totally updated.
The bathroom was updated and the shower/jaccuzi was fantastic!
The roof was a patio where you can sit and watch the ocean while sipping your drink.

Great location and the staff were very friendly. Great for a couple looking to relax and take in the scene. The place has all the old world charm. We were even greeted by some deer in the front yard as we were checking in. Location is fantastic with good restaurants within walking distance and 17 Mile drive within a bike ride range (much nicer than doing it by car and you don't have to pay the entrance fee). Just perfect. The owners collection of MGs is an added bonus. Make sure to take

Breakfast basket was welcomed in the morning. Very nice accommodation with everything you need. We were recommended to go to Vesuvio in Carmel in the evening but it was basic food and a flat atmosphere. Carmel of a dark evening is not the best place to find your way about so aim to get there early and get your bearings. -

The breakfast baskets in the mornings were delicious and they made life even more relaxing with breakfast in bed! And we could even see the ocean from our room!

... was die leute sagen » fortunately our stay was during the high winds and cool air off the Pacific so we really did not have a chance to enjoy the beach area or fire pit area as it was far too cool for those activiites. Our accomodation was very comfortable. The restauarnt food was quite good.
