  The staff are amazingly friendly and really made us feel welcome. Everyone was cheerful, helpful and all round nice. It felt more like a family hotel than a chain hotel (and I mean that as a positive comment.) The pool was the perfect temperature and a good depth: it was shallow enough for my 8 year old daughter to touch the bottom, but deep enoug... was die leute sagen » h for comfortable adult swimming.   I loved everything about the hotel. Every member of staff was reallyhelpful and quite lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. The bookingout time of 12 noon was realistic and breakfast between 7 and 11 wascertainly more civilised than some hotels.   The staff were extremely helpful and suggested that we change our roomto meet my mother's needs (she'd hurt her foot at work and is scared oftravelling in lifts so we'd have needed to climb 6 floors to get to ourroom). ( i ordered every night of my stay). just in front of the river, i had the river veiw. it was great.

  the staff from our arrival were more than helpfull, and went out there way to find us a nice resturant to eat in and made the reservation for us. the hotel and the staff were brilliant! - The location and view from our room was excellent as was the room itself. The staff were friendly and informative and the restaurant and bar were both good.

The hotel needs some TLC but is comfortable and the rooms were adequate for the price. Overall, a nice place to stay near to the city (15 Min) walk or bus directly outside, generous parking area. - it was very hand... was die leute sagen » y for the city, the rooms were clean and comfortable. there was ample free parking . the rates were very good . this is a very basic facility, but I would stay again. there was some road noise but I suspect they are in a conservation area so double glazing is not possible
