Annesdale is close to the train station and an easy walk to shops and restaurants in Windermere. The hosts of Annesdale are very friendly. We appreciated that they gave us (and our luggage) a ride to the train station. The beds are comfortable and we enjoyed our own sitting room and garden complete with a table to enjoy a quiet time outside. -

Before travelling I received a phone call asking what time I would be arriving. The owners son showed us to our room and was pleasant. The breakfast was excellent and Steve even offered to go and buy me rye bread as I can't eat wheat bread.. We loved our stay at the Boundary. We went for my wifes birthday and loved everything about it. We stayed in the Hobbs room with a 4 poster bed and gorgeous bathroom. The staff and owner were friendly and extremely helpful. All in all I highly recommend staying here and we will definately be back in the future.

The Location of Parsonage House is really good being just outside of Windermere and Bowness and within walking distance of one of the best pubs in the Lake District. The friendliness and hospitality of the hosts made our visit just like being at home. We had a lovely friendly stay in homely surroundings with fabulous breakfasts. We were also given much information in relation to places to visit which was very helpful for our first visit to the lakes. The Mews is very well placed for accessing trains and buses as well as a lovely walk to the lakeside. Throughly recommended. -
