  Friendly cosy hotel, quirky & made a pleasant chance to stay in somewhere different & unique unlike the usual chain hotels. Staff were friendly & attentive. Food was good both in taste & value. Room large & comfortable. Was concerned about the potential of traffic noise as it it right on a busy sectionof the A1, but hotel is se... was die leute sagen » t back from the road, well soundproofed & I was not disturbed by any traffic noise. - The rooms where well equiped, warm and tastefully decorated. Free WiFi is a bonus with excellent reception within the room and the pub. The pub is a very relaxing retreat after a day on the road with friendly staff, excellent food and atmosphere........all in all excellent value for money.

  Ruhig, Nichtraucherzimmer, Sauberkeit, nettes Ambiente - Enjoyed afternoon tea and relaxed. Had an excellent meal in the restaurant. Breakfast was also fantastic an excellent time had by both of us. - Really lovely hotel. We stayed for a friends wedding that was held at the hotel. Would highly recommend. At £60 it is a stonking bargain!
