  Having stayed at the hotel before the refurb and enjoyed it the new look is excellent. Comfy and modern we very much enjoyed our stay, leisure facillities better then most gyms, excellent food in both the pub area and more formal resturant. Only 5mins walk from the town centre, enjoyed a morning of shopping and coffee!. Check-in and out was very easy. Good value for money for a weekend stay. As I only slept there and didn't have any meals it is not appropriate for me to comment on any other aspect.

  Stayed their recently while visitng my wife's famlily in the UK. To be honest the hotel was not our first choice, however we booked because it was a very convienient location. It turned out to be a great choice and great value. The hotel and restaurant has lots of character and charm, which is hard to find in the chain hotels. We did eat at the resta - The staff were very friendly and had plenty of parking the executive suite was spacious and clean and good value for money the breakfast was lovely enough variety and very quick service the location was easy to get to and was far enough from the centre and traffic so it wasn't noisy but close enough that it was cheap in taxi to the centre didn't eat in the actual restaurant but looked very nice and drink prices from the bar were reasonable loved that they let us extend our room for 2hrs for £1

  This hotel was perfect for us, with two boys aged 12 & 13, good sized room, everything you need for a stop over, good breakfast with lots of choice. Staff were lovely and helped us find somewhere for an evening meal as the pub next door was extremely busy.
