  Firstly, the location: ideal for the city centre and Exeter Central railway station (literally next door), bus station, the quay area (by the river - 7/8 min. walk) and Exeter St.Davids (15 min walk). In a side street, off the High Street, so quite quiet and noise wasn't a problem even at the weekends and being above a pub. Rooms were fine, and bathroom facilities good especially bearing in mind usual British plumbing standards. Location very close to high street shopping and easy to get to main rail station although a hit far with suitcases, but okay with a backpack. Easy taxi ride. Good pub atmosphere on ground floor

  Neat rooms, very spacious and had that fresh happy feeling. Clean and welcoming - lots of different teas and coffees and a luxury to choose upon arrival or before next morning's breakfast! Staff were very helpful and polite as well as eager to go out of their own way to make your stay more comfortable to easy. The room was perfect and splendidly clean and the bathroom was really lovely. The Townhouse feels like a home away from home and is a perfect place to be. It is close to the station and the shops and is in a safe residential area. Breakfast was delicious and perfectly prepared. I really couldn't recommend this hotel more highly.

  The hotel room was really good, very spacious and luxurious. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the hotel and we were very pleased with the food.   The welcome was superb, complimentary drinks mini bar and chocolate bar. I know it doesn't sound like much but those little touches really do make a stay more memorable. The staff were very helpful and the iPad they give you on check in was a superb addition. Location is great, The po - This is without a doubt one of the coolest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere is efficient but laid back . The hotel had everything we needed. The pool was fantastic and the fitness facilities although not extensive were adequate. The room was well equipped and a good size (we stayed in a superior room). The bed was really comfortable. We didn't have dinner in the restaurant but the breakfast was really tasty with good choices

  The room (1) was a good size and the bed very comfortable. All the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast although not self service offered a good choice and the cooked breakfast was very good. I thought the hotel offered excellent value for money for a couple of nights stay in Exeter. Encountered a bathroom sink leak on arrival around 7pm... was die leute sagen » ,it was dealt with very efficiently and was all sorted out by the time we returned at 11pm which was great service on a Saturday night. We were also o - The hotel was very clean and tidy, and the staff were exceptionally helpful. What really surprised me, was that the location of the hotel was much closer to the centre of Exeter than I had imagined. It was only a 5 minute leasurely walk to the heart of the city. I would have no hesitations whatsoever of staying here again. Many thanks for an enjoyable stay.
