  My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and we didn't want to leave! From the time we arrived we were welcomed like family and we received excellent advice about things to do and see in Edinburgh. The room we stayed in was spacous, clean, nicely decorated and the bathroom was new with pretty tiles. The breakfasts are fantastic!   The Edinburgh Lodge was welcoming and friendly. The staff are friendly and informative. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable, offering en-suite facilites with added touches. Some signs of wear and tear here and there but it has the character of an older building which was exactly what I was looking for in Scotland.
