  I loved everything about my stay at Sylvern House, The owner was so friendly and helpful from start to end. Breakfast was amazing 3 courses and it was so filling and made me and my girlfriend ready for the day ahead! Neither of us had any problem with our room or any other part of the stay. I would very much like to say a great big thank you to Richard and Vicki for running such a beautiful bed and break - Fantastic breakfast which was cooked to order as given a menu sheet to choose options the night before. Informative folder in the room full of useful information about the local area such as directions, things to do and restaurants etc. Well stocked tea tray in room and owners very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

  The grainary is amazing, can't wait to go again, you are in the middle of the countryside and wake up to birds singing and overlooking the animals and fields, a true break from reality, my children aged 14 and 6 could not have been happier, they loved the play room and had some fab long walks around the farm petting the super friendly animals as w... was die leute sagen » e went, I could not recommend this place highly enough and the staff always had time for a little chat with the children, also only a short very sceni - The Grainary is a working farm, with a B&B on the side, so if you like the atmosphere of a farm, off on the edge of the moors, you'll love it. Children are especially well catered for, as they have every imaginable farm animal in the fields near the house, plus dogs, rabbits, a ferret and certainly one or two I've missed. Walking distance to nearby castle, Bronte church, and - the staff were very welcoming and accommodating for myself and my boyfriend. We are a young couple and simply had a short weekend break. It was perfect for location and a short walk to everything. I was originally put off by reviews I had read on the Delmont, but please don't let it put you off. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely go back. Breakfast was great and prompt service :)

  It was immaculate and the owner could not have done enough for us. We had a pet collie with us and this was not a problem at all and we occupied the ground floor accomodation. The owner even directed us to dog friendly restaurants nearby which was very kind.   I had the best sleep i've ever had in 2 years!!! Comfy room and I also liked the staff very much, from the friendly and very helpful ladies at the front desk who checked me in and when I realised I did not have a room with seaside view, they made sure I did by changing my room. And then there was also the extra s - Though some of the corridors had that slightly battered look of many older seaside hotels, the bedroom was very comfortable and the public rooms most attractive. The bathroom was a decent size and well equipped. Breakfast was excellent: buffet breakfasts certainly have their advantages, but it was a pleasant change to be served by attentive staff from a generous menu with a great view of the South Bay.

It does need a little up-dating but it is an old victorian building.Our superior villa had a modern kitchen, massive bed and was spotlessly clean. Great value hotel to expl - The location was excellent to spa with its newly opened restaurant. Funicular near to apartment made it easy access if preferred to walking down the cliff. 10 mins walk to town centre and harbour or 2 mins local shops in nearby street. John was friendly and helpful when we wanted to swap rooms. Room 33 was lovely with its shower. Room 30 has lovely sea views but no shower.
