  The hotel was lovely and full of character. Our room was great, very clean and had a lovely view of the water. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast room had another lovely view out to sea. All well maintained. Yarmouth was a lot smaller than thought. We brought the car over with us which we were thankful for as you would need ... was die leute sagen » to go further afield for other attractions. But the hotel was great and we would definitely stay here again as long as the car came with us! :) - This hotel is fabulous. Very clean, beautiful linen on super comfy beds, and lots of lovely touches. Big China mugs and a teapot, soft dressing gowns, useful stash of "forgotten to pack" items, iron, mineral water and a little box of mints. I didn't eat breakfast, but others who did said it was very good. My evening meal was excellent although a bit expensive.

  This hotel is the real deal, the venue is perfectly situated & all staff were attentive, polite & well turned out. The rooms are good & you get what you pay for. Food was excellently presented & close to fine dining. Beautiful historic building, stylishly furnished. Sublime scones and jam!Dinner beautifully presented, with touches of brilliance. Friendly 4 star service without pretension, felt more like a private stately home than a hotel. Very hard to leave, will stay longer next time.
