  We enjoyed our short stay immensely. The staff were very polite and friendly. Excellent food, tasty, healthy, great variety. Room was very clean with a comfortable bed, central heating. The hotel is located in a very nice quiet area within an easy access to the station and the shops. The beach, Shanklin Chine and the old town are just a short walk... was die leute sagen » away. - Rooms were of a high standard and well maintained. Bathroom was small but perfectly formed with an excellent shower. Tea and coffee were plentiful and they had mugs! Breakfast was excellent with a good selection well prepared. A beautiful building.

  This hotel is the real deal, the venue is perfectly situated & all staff were attentive, polite & well turned out. The rooms are good & you get what you pay for. Food was excellently presented & close to fine dining.   We have enjoyed our stay very much. The owners of this guest house are very kind and did take the time for a chat. The room is neat with good fascilities like a flatscreen TV and free WIFI. The bathroom was good, but a little small. We appreciated the freshly cooked breakfast. We liked the beautiful old house and it is very - A very welcoming small hotel in an excellent central location in Sandown. Accommodation spotlessly clean and comfortable with great attention to detail by the proprietors Sally and Graham. Catering (breakfast) was excellent and the general ambiance of the establishment made our short stay of 3 nights something to look back on with great pleasure.

  Loved this place..Rosemary and John were lovely as were their staff (thanks girls).Room was perfect, uncluttered clean and very tidy. Great place to use as home base. Lovely to be left to our own devices and not hassled by the staff,if we needed to change anything we only had to ask. Food was lovely. Great to have the 'bed fairies' in to tidy up !... was die leute sagen » Everything is on the doorstep, town and beach a stones throw away. Great to be able to park our motorbikes outside too. - Ideal location for our groups needs being close to several bus services to access the whole island. John and Rosemary made sure of our comfort and requirements even though they had to deal with a first night no-show of one of our group. Property is period furnished and pleasantly warm in the guest areas. Breakfast was ample and tasty and we were able to choose a 09.30 time which suited us perfectly.

  Before I arrived, I was not sure I would have a good stay. However, upon arrival, I knew I made the best choice to stay here. The staff were very welcoming and the facilities were super great. I wish I dint have to leave. It is very close to the shanklin beach. Also very close to the city center.   A very nice B&B located on a side street away from the crowds but nevertheless in a very close proximity to the city beach, Shanklin Chine and Old Village which are town's main tourist attractions. The rooms are big enough, well furnished, clean and comfortable. There is a large living room in the house available for the guests. - Mick is really a nice and friendly staff! The restaurant is nice and clean. The location is so amazing as it only takes 5 minutes to walk to the cliff and you can choose either the lift or walking down to the beach. Also, 5 minutes to Shanklin Old Town is also very convenient! I really had a great time in St George B&B!
