  The room was excellent, all of the staff were very helpful and friendly, especially the restaurant team. The hotel is very close to the main shopping area but still private when accessed through its courtyard. You are only five minutes from the harbour front where there is a large array of yatchs and a commercial harbour where ferries leave for o... was die leute sagen » ther Channel Islands and Poole, Weymouth etc. You can drive around the island of Guernsey quite easily in a day and there are many really good beache - We needed to shift from room 43 as the lack of hot water was unacceptable, but the reception were very helpful in finding an alternative, and room 17 was fine, though the sink was very awkward to negotiate. Breakfasts were excellent; quick service and individually cooked.

  We were very impressed with the friendliness of all the staff, especially Donna the manageress who was extremely helpful all the time. We liked the cleanliness and the fact that the towels and drink making facilities were renewed every day.
