  Beautiful setting and a warm Welcome. The rooms were spotless, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to perfection in the farmhouse kitchen. Best of all though were the owners who made us feel at home, gave us a tour of the farm and let my 2 year old meet and (much to her delight) stroke the animals.   The location of The Ship is good, in a lovely village. We were able to park right outside the door. Staff were welcoming and the room was lrge, very comfortable, with everything we needed and nice extras like bottled water and biscuits. The room was very clean and comfortable with Wi-Fi which allowed me to work in room. The food was great and I was made to feel very welcome by the staff.   The hotel was heaven made for dog owners who like to include their pets in everything that they do. We were able to have our dog with us all the time, including meal times. The staff were great, warm and welcoming. The food was delicious and the whole hotel was comfortable and relaxing. The hotel had nice gardens for you to sit in and relax. - I have stayed at Trigony a number of times and on each occasion it was a pleasure. This time I brought my husband, who also very much liked it. Our dogs sleep in the car but it is a perfect stopover for our frequent trips up North and we can walk them safely.
