  Outstanding location for visiting the Cornwall area and Port Issac. The best restaurant within miles and extremely courteous service. The number one choice to stay if visiting Port Issac. It is about a 5 minutes drive to the Port Isaac parking areas which you will have to park in even if you stay in one of the 3 downtown hotels. Port Issac's is no... was die leute sagen » w a crowded tourist town and it is refreshing to get away from all the noise and enjoy a great evening dinner and nights rest at the Longcross hotel. - Travelled specifically to Port Isaac to visit the 'Doc'! Big Australian Doc Martin fans. Village was quaint and to make it even more special, they were in the middle of filming the new series!!! The proximity from The Longcross Hotel to the harbour was perfect. The short drive gave you a real feel for the beautiful Cornwall countryside.   Too much to say in one review, I stay away at least two nights a week. It takes a lot for me to a) really impressed and b) almost speechless, however being shown to Room 5 did both those things!! The room itself was huge, and I mean huge. Open plan bath room, with bath and walk in wet room shower, everything in the room was quality from the slate ... was die leute sagen » on the walls and floor in bathroom to the Bose ipod dock. However the thing that dominates the room is the view, ceiling to floor (almost) glass windo - wow the lewinnick lodge is amazing, everything about our stay was fantastic, we stayed for two nights in the sunrise room. huge room with views over fistral beach, room spotless and the king size bed was very comfortable, bose I-pod dock, walk n shower and roll top bath by the window, breakfast included and was very good, we had dinner on both nights and was also excellent, the staff were friendly and very helpful, fresh milk delivered to our room for tea and coffee if you want good food, great
