I found my four night stay there one of the most pleasant short breaks that I have taken in a long time. Everything was perfect.

  We were welcomed with a cup of tea and biscuits after a long journey down from London. We loved the 'honour' bar system in the evening. The breakfast was delicious - all home made or local food. Beautiful view across the valley. The room was great - clean and very comfortable. The place was very quiet at night.   VERY CONFLICTING ADVICE ABOUT APARTMENT, IT READ IT WAS HOTEL BUT IT WAS NO WHERE NEAR AN HOTEL.   We were made to feel very much at home in this beautiful house. Everywhere you look there is something interesting which has been chosen and placed with an artist's eye for detail. However it is not so 'perfect' that it makes you feel awkward .. we felt completely relaxed. A lovely place to stay and one we will return to. - The summer house is a beautiful little hotel booked by my sister, wonderful rooms, really pretty with lots of lovely little details. Really nice owners happy to do anything for you and breakfast was memorable. Will definitely be staying again.

Every little thing was designed and it was beautiful. We had dinner at the bed and breakfast. That was amazing! There was also an hot tub. lovely!

  The proprietors Hugo and Pippa are truly wonderful hosts, make you feel very special and Woodlands is quite the best hotel we have stayed in - not posh or snooty but really comfortable and welcoming. Pippa was very helpful explaining the local restaurants in Padstow and the surrounding area. We had a great time and sad that it wasn't longer. We look forward to returning soon.
