  We spent 3 magnificent days at Common barn farm, enjoying walks in the fields around. The hotel was very comfortable and cosy, we were surprised by having a bath (not just a shower cabin) in our room. We liked the variety of meals for breakfast and it was delicious. We felt very welcome at Common Barn Farm. Thank you! - Common Barn Farm was a real home away from home!! It was in a lovely peaceful (and beautiful) location and Rona couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome and meet our needs. It is also well located for access to the Peak District - 5/5.

  My in laws, mum and friend stay here. They said the accommodation was comfy and lovely and clean. As there's not much about it was nice and quite. They used it to get to dearnford lake which is only a 20 min drive. There is few pubs nearby. They also commented on how nice the breakfast was and how much choice there was. Felt like a home from home loved this place. The owner was very pleasant.

  The Hotel or Hostel if you wish to call it that, was in a semi rural position but only 15 mins away from the centre of Chester. The room was in a row of chalets positioned around a garden to the rear was a wooded area with an abundance of rabbiits and squirrals the room itself was very clean and warm. We sat in the TV bar in the evening after going out for a meal as no food was b - Semi rural location surrounded by woods. Eco conscious ethics, sumptuous breakfast (and I understand the evening meals were beautiful), efficient staff, friendly atmosphere in the bar. This place was a real find.
