  Extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. Our room wasn't ready on arrival but the staff took our bags, jackets etc. We had a great lunch and our room cards were brought to us in the restaurant and our bags etc were already in the room. I would call that great service. Loved the decor in the hotel and also our room.The room was stylish, larg... was die leute sagen » e and comfortable. Had excellent breakfast in the morning. The hotel was very easy to find and lots of parking space. - I love how the dakota looks it is a beautiful hotel especially the lounge reception and dining area the staff are always lovely and helpful especially tge receptionist that was on when i arrived at the hotel i think it is really good for business occassions.

  as we didnt arrive till later on on the saturday nite we liked that we didnt have to check out till 12 pm instead of 11 am. We will most definately be visiting again soon. - buffet breakfast was really good and hotel handy for motorway. friendly staff who could speak and understand english unlike a lot of hotels in the UK

  The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to be so. The location is excellent, being in a large park area with lots of walks etc. It's location Meir a busy intersection of the highway means that you need to ask for a room not facing the road . It is a very quiet room. The same numbers on the second floor would have th - the staff were very nice and friendly and helpful. just what we needed. the rooms were spacious and big enough and the beds were comfy. clean bedding was everyday and the venue offered food and refreshments when required. car parking appeared safe and secure and local facilities met all our needs.

  This is the second time in a month that myself and girlfriend have spent the weekend at the Alona. As usual on arrival we are greated with cheeery and very smart recepionist and a glass of wine of course. The checkin was over in minute and our room again was immaculate. We had dinner both nights in the restaraunt and the food was lovely and servic... was die leute sagen » e was first class. The breakfast in the morning is freshly cooked and delicious as well. We will be be going back soon as we simply adore staying ther - After i had booked our room,i received a phone call from Gary the receptionist,who enquierd if we were part of the Wedding party that they were haveing,when we said we were not,we were givein an upgrade & room on the front of the hotel,so as not to be inconvenienced by the party,which my wife & i thot was a fine example of a hotel looking after all of their guests,& a welcome drink was a nice touch,breakfast was exllent & the evening meal was quite superb.

  The room we were initially given was not set up for us and the receptionist quickly organised another room for us. The breakfast was fab also which was included in the price of our staff. Also the free parking onsite was an added bonus. - The hotel was everything we needed for a place to stay for a family wedding.There is a nice place to eat next... was die leute sagen » door with a play area which our little girl enjoyed.Would recommend this hotel for a short stay.

  This is an outstanding B&B in a lovely rural setting. It's very close to major roads such as the M8- central Glasgow is only about 15-20 minutes away and Edinburgh is within easy reach. Ann and Jim are fantastic hosts. They are friendly and accommodating in a laid back country way. The finish and style in this purpose-built B&B is first class, and the spacious rooms very well appointed. Immaculately clean and with attention to detail - the rooms are a pleasure to stay in. Add genuinely friendly people and Ann's fantastic cooking and you cannot but have a wonderful stay.

  Hotel was modern and the room well provided with facilities, a good bed and good bathroom. Very friendly staff and good (English) breakfast. We traveled by car (without it the hotel is not easy to reach) and choose this hotel for its location for making day trips in and around Scotland. - I managed to get a great deal as I booked only a few days ... was die leute sagen » before I travelled and then had an upgraded room with it's own conservatory and four poster bed!   Good clean accomodation in a spacious room, good shower pressure, comfy bed. We stayed for the one night as a place to get some sleep as we travelled down south, room had all we needed for the night. Plenty of parking available.   Our daughter (20 months) would not settle and the staff kindly heated a bottle of milk (after midnight) and gave me a separate room to go with her so my husband could sleep before driving in the morning. They really were so accommodating and went beyond what most other hotels would ever do. We could not fault them in their friendliness or service.... was die leute sagen » - A really lovely find, not expected to be so good as the price was quite reasonable. They laid on a mini bus for us to go into the city to watch Bruce Springsteen and all the staff were so friendly, we'd come back and stay here if we were visiting the area again!

Well designed in terms of environmental concerns, the littleblue light in the bathroom was a great idea as I like to leave a lighton when staying in a "strange" room in case I need to get up in thenight. The loaction is also 2 minutes from the M74 motorway - excellent choice for an overnight stop.

  The marvellous Meg on reception. Could not do enough for you and she cared that you enjoyed your stay. Otherwise the hotel was much like any other Premier Inn although undergoing extension new-build which did not detract. It is set in a small but very busy area easily reached from the M74 - The staff were really lovely and the room was beautiful ... was die leute sagen » .
