We arrived way before normal check in time and our train wasn't until 2 the following day. The owner was quite happy to let us in early and stay until 2 the next way. Put it this way. Our room was in the attic with a lovely view to the Minster.We could sit in our bed with our morning cuppa and view across.Very clean room and a huge comfortable bed. A nice size bathroom. Cellar bar was good for a meal, or a cosy night cap after visiting the city. Staff friendly and helpful with a smile! Simply all you need for a relaxing break away from it all. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was very nice and the cellar bar with te beautiful outside area on the forecourt of the hotel was a lovely afternoon treat. The location couldn't be more central!
