Excellent facilities in large traditional Edinburgh house, central
situation with easy access to town centre and attractions. Very
reasonably priced for facilities and the fact that it was a Rugby
Weekend which usually incurs doubling the price by many other Hotels and
Guest Houses. Whilst the guest house doesn't do breakfasts there are
good facilities nearbye, although for this particular weekend the host
cooked all guests who were visiting for the rugby a great breakfast on

If you want to stay out of central downtown, are driving a car and take buses and tours, this works very well. Some signs of wear and tear here and there but it has the character of an older building which was exactly what I was looking for in Scotland. The attention of the staff to make sure you were settled in.
The staff had put on the heating in the room in advance so it was lovely and warm.
I was leaving before breakfast started and they had laid out cereal and toast making facilities to use.
They have spent a lot of money on new carpets and upgrading bathrooms to make them clean and very fresh.
