Location is excellent with loads of buses into the city centre but the local bars and restaurants in Leith offer a huge choice, plus the new shopping centre is only yards away from the front door of the hotel. Excellent value. - I first booked at the Waterfront but found out that there was one closer to the city center when I reached Edinburgh and managed to change the booking. I was lucky they had rooms available and for the same price as well. Its called Express By Holiday Inn City Center.

First of all, the location was extraordinary. The sea (Firth of Forth) is just behind the hotel and you wake up, seeing big steamships and small fisher boats on the water.

were spacious. The staff was very helpful. The views of the water were
beautiful and our family enjoyed walking along the quay. The breakfast

nearby Prezzo for dinner. Although we had a car, we caught the bus at
the conveniently located stop directly across from the hotel. Definitely

The room - 4- was very comfortable and tastefully furnished.(the 'detached' en suite was managed very well and we appreciated the robes)

homely feel due to there being all the facilities such as a clean cooker, washing machine..etc that we required for our stay. also liked the fact that it was an apartment that we could come and go as we pleased rather than having to go to a hotel reception for the keys or throgh a reception area and also that we did not have to leave the room to go

We paid the minimum and got the maximum in comfort with a freely given upgrade. The staff were very welcoming and were pleased that we were pleased. Schöne Bar, nettes Personal, ruhige Zimmer, Frühstück ganz ordentlich. - Absolutely wonderful place to stay!!! We came with a 4 month old, and they could not have been more accommodating! Location, Price, customer serviceand general atmosphere was more than I could have hoped for. We didhave one problem that when we first got our room it wasnt clean butthis was quickly rectified and we got a new room and a welcome pack.Only other problem was tv reception but I did not spend much timewatching tv anyway.

I enjoyed the space of the room, the comfort of the bed and the beautiful glass bbathroom. The service was brilliant and the breakfast fabulous. I would definitely stay again. All amenities and activities were very close by and within minutees walking distance. Loved it!
