  Das für Londoner Hotels wirklich geräumige, saubere und schöne Zimmer! Die Lage ist fast noch schöner! Mit einem ca. 20 minütigen Fussweg an der Themse entlang erreicht man Big Ben und das London Eye.Die Tube und Busverbindungen in die Stadt sind Perfekt! Echt toll!!   Hotel has a nice location right on Clapham Common. Whilst not right in the centre of London it is only 4/5 subway stops from Victoria and much better value than most of the hotels that are in the centre. Our room was really nice and spacious and had a massive ensuite with a bath and a walk in shower.The staff were all lovely and the service was ex... was die leute sagen » cellent. The pub was very full and busy when we returned in the evening but our room was lovely and quiet even though it was on the same floor.Excelle - This is a wonderful haven from the busy city. It's in an excellent accessible location, about 10 mins walk from either Clapham Common or Clapham South. The beautiful Victorian building is well looked after and has a quirky yet clean feel to it. A cosy and warm atmosphere with open fires in the winter. Helpful and welcoming staff, very professional. Glass-roofed conservatory breakfast area, and excellent food. Bed was very comfy, got a good night's sleep. Very quiet! Free WiFi.

Zwar war das Zimmer sehr klein und auch recht unkonfortabel aber ich denke für den Preis war das echt OK. Excellent double glazing, all mod cons, mirrored furniture, sparkling white kitchen, fabulous showers with plenty bath sheets and comfy beds.   I read a few negative reviews about Pestana London on letsbookhotel.com and on TripAdvisor. I'm not one for writing reviews but decided I should do this one. This hotel was a completely different experience from the negative reviews.
