  The location was a stone's throw from the ACC and Echo Arena. I attended a conference and could come home for lunch. The Albert Dock is also very, very close. Tesco Metro is really close 5-7 mins walk away and there is a bigger Tesco for food supplies on Hanover St. about 10 mins away. Room was lovely and of a decent size: two double bedrooms (ours had a lovely view of River Mersey), one main bathroomm, one en suite and a large kitchen/diner/living room area again with great views of Mersey and Cathedral.   The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, from reception to waiting staff. Family friendly atmosphere and you feel you are in the middle of the excitement of the city too. Not a nice experience but what I did like was the way the staff managed to get everyone out of the hotel . They were brilliant. They kept everyone informed on what was happening and when it was apparent we were going to be a while getting back into hotel they transferred us to a sister hotel in the centre of Liverpool.

  The staff were wonderful. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome and at home. Everything about the hostel was perfect, spotlessly clean and well ventilated. Nice comfy beds and lounge. It is a well used hostel and everything was in working order - unlike some hotels that I have stayed in and paid a lot more for the privelige.   For a budget hotel this was very good value the room was clean, a reasonable size and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in a hotel. The staff were helpful. My husband ate in the dining room and said the food was good for the price. They do not advertise free wifi but we were able to log on at no charge. - As someone who has stayed at an IBIS hotel before. I was aware of the quality of service and care that is demonstrated to customers. So I was not surprised at the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. Also the fact that the hotel is so close to the local attractions, shopping centres and nightlife is also a big plus.I would throughly recommend the hotel to any fellow traveller.
