  We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at The Old Vicarage. Bob is a wonderful host and the house is absolutely gorgeous. It has been lovingly restored, the decor is very tasteful and it has the warm, personal feel which we were looking for. It is also spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of things to choo... was die leute sagen » se from, we fully recommend Bob's scrambled eggs! The village is a few minutes walk away and there are some very good eating places, one being the Rod - Fate! We were actually looking to stay on the other side of the estuary. Then Bob's Old Vicarage appeared.. and we're so pleased it did. The emailed directions were perfect - lowering stress levels before we'd set off. (Perhaps look at Google Street View as well - so you recognise the landmarks). More stress evaporation followed as, when we arrived, Bob opened the door with a welcoming smile and the offer of Devonshire Cream Tea. Bliss. The Old Vicarage is quiet and comfortable. The breakfast
