  We received a very warm welcome and found Fern Lodge to have all the facilities we required. The location is ideal as a base for exploring the local area and the helpful advice from the proprietor led to some of the best fish and chips we have ever tasted. Service throughout our stay was accommodating, I would particularly highlight how welcome and comfortable we felt as a lesbian couple. I love the building itself, you really feel like you are staying in a cosy country cottage. The living room space was also very spacious and homey.
