  Room was clean with comfortable bed, practical shower and washbasin. Toilet in separate cubicle. Staff were friendly and helpful and public areas were clean and practical. I had read some unfavourable reviews after booking, but in my experience the hotel provided excellent value for money. We were in Glasgow to see Bruce Springsteen at Hampden Par... was die leute sagen » k and stayed 2 nights. It was an inexpensive taxi ride to Hampden from the hotel. Also, a variety of eating places in the complex offering burgers, Me - I booked 3 nights here as price was right. Room small and sparse but adequate for our simple needs. The hotel is under a car park and besides a casino, bowling alley and cinema, like a mini mall enclave. As this is budget stay - you pay for extras. Save 2 quids if you don't get room serviced during your extended stay. Internet is 3 quids for 2 timed hours and signal available at the breakfast hall on 6th. It is fast though so that was fine.   Handy for train station to Glasgow. Very helpful and efficient staff particularly reception and cleaners. Plenty of staff on for all jobs in the hotel so no waiting for service. Rooms tho' small are well equiped and clean. Have used for family visits and meals for over 18 years. So have seen rooms receiving re-fits during the various visits as the... was die leute sagen » y can get tired - but the owners seem to keep on top of this aspect. Indeed the public lounge bar was being refurbished during the last visit and it s - Everything. The rooms were small but had everything you needed. The staff were locals so very pleasant, friendly and helpful and the night porter was fantastic.. The hotel is situated in a very nice location, 5 mins from train station... We have recommended this hotel to friends and family and are planning our next stay...

  Had read some dodgy reviews and was a bit cautious about booking. The place is nothing special from the outside, but I got a friendly welcome and was reall surprised by how nice the room was. It was spotlessly clean though the bathroom (which was a bonus as I had booked a room with shared facilities) smelled a little of disinfectant. I arrived on a grim day and the - Me my boyfriend and 2 other friends stayed a night in the hotel it was great everyone was realy friendly staff were great. Beds were very comfortable and hotel was clean and very lively!! Easy to get to city center we paid 6 pound in a taxi would defo go back
