  The caretaker, Rachel, is very friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the fact that we could park the car safely on site - a rarity this close to the centre of Edinburgh. We booked a studio, but were actually upgraded to a 2-bed flat for the same cost, which was nice. The location was superb, with public transportation to go anywhere. I honestly couldn't say enough about how staying at such a lovely place added to our wonderful Scotland visit! My family plans to go back to Scotland and Palace Residential will be our first choice each time.

  This was our first trip to Edinburgh. We were hoping to book a hotel closer to the city centre, but as ours was a last minute booking, we were limited for choice. As it turned out, the Britannia was just perfect for us and we're now very pleased we chose it.
