  Staying at James Cottage can only be described as a wonderful experience. The cottage is beautiful and family friendliness is not just a word but the case. The family room is light and friendly with games for the children. Our children (2/7) immediately felt at home and connected with Michael the host. It is him who makes a stay at James Cottage so relaxing and special. - Staying at James Cottage was like staying at the house of a friend or member of the family. What a wonderful older house with real character, an Michael giving us such a warm welcome to his home. Also 10 out of 10 for an excellent 'full Scottish' breakfast. Michael's parting phrase - "Haste ye back" ..... we'll be sure to call next time we're in Crieff.

  the location of the Rowans is delightful. The view of the expanse of the countryside to the mountains beyond from the breakfast table was wonderful. Ann and George are great hosts, friendly, but not too much. They pitch it just right. the breakfast was really good too and the house is immaculate.
