Was die Leute sagen
We enjoyed a lovely weekend break at this beautiful location, the hotel decor is very inviting and luxurious. The hotel food is exceptional and we couldn't fault the service at all. Nice Hotel, clean, luxurious and palacial, good location not far from seafront with access to most of brighton either a short walk or taxi drive away.Everything. The place was amazing. I'd recommend it to anyone and everyone. alle bewertungen »
Location was good. Unique hotel and nice to stay somewhere different. Queen room was spacious and comfortable. Proper Boutique style. Cooked breakfast was good. Well worth the money.I didn't spend much time in my hotel room but I did enjoy the tv programmes. Location was handy for me. Big beds and comfy matresses were a bonus. Very unique hotel, friendly staff. Funky bar and well worth the money.A chic little number with plenty of character. Its had minor touch upsince I last stayed. Pleasant stay again. Nice Spa and cream tea. Hotel staff were very helpful and welcoming. The spa was lovely and the decor very glamorous. Food excelent if a little expensive. bar and lounge were very nice. good place for relaxing. Top quality hotel. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Room was stylish, clean, and very comfortable. The hotel bar served up very generous measures in their cocktails... so watch out. Well located with clean comfortable rooms and modern bathrooms. Friendly service.Staff were helpful and the hotel was away from the busy Brighton area. It was good to get away and have a break from everything!. stayed 1 night so it's hard to say. The hotel was well placed and an elegant alternative to, for example, a decent business type hotel for the same money.the location was okay. Good location,. Friendly staff. friendly staff. Rooms were very nice, staff mostly polite and called us a taxi when needed. Very good location, close to the sea front. The location - room was nice. Staff at reception friendly. Nice place, big rooms!. The food was very nice, staff very friendlyand felt quite relaxed.Nice location (west pier), nice service staff. location. The room was presented well and very cosy. Convenient and relatively inexpensive. The room and bar were nice plus we were saved a parking space. The lady who checked us in on Friday night was lovely. Spa massage. Location. Closeness to the sea. The location and quite were the best features of this hotel. The staff were polite but thats expected always.. The bar area. parking is a nightmare but parking is always a nightmare in Brighton, you can park in any of the bays on the seafront and stay till 9am before requiring to pay further, this is only a short walk away. the absence of the iron and ironing board in the rooom. Limited parking facility within the hotel premises.toilet didn't flush properly, bed uncomfortable, bit pricey, parking a bit of a problem. room was very noisy, very poor soundproofing. after ending up visiting the hospital due to a leaking radiator in our bathroom, it shoul of been fxed but it wasn't, also should of been pre warned there was a weding booked that weekend as it was noisy saturday night. The car park at the hotel was full but I did manage to park close by on a meter which actually was a cheaper option than the hotel's £15 par day charge. I only stayed one night and didn't get time to utilise the spa, restaurant or bar.the restaurant was very dark with no ambiance and the restaurant staff were very slow when we had our evening meal, they never checked if we were ok we kept having to call them over, we were one of 2 tables dining, it wasn't like they were over worked. Only that the roon was almost laughably narrow with barely enough space to walk past the bed, this space had to be negotiated by backing against the wall and edging by as if negotiating a parapet high up on a building. At least the TV got a polish from the back of my shirt on each occasion. Our car doors were badly scratched outside the front door between 2pm to 5pm, if security were visable the vandals may not have felt comfortable is using a sharp object to mark 2 doors of the car. Breakfast was not included and expensive and everything had been cooked for ages so it had gone hard and dry. Also they had run out of tomato ketchup!. Room a little small. hotel landings carpets covered in paint looked shabby. Small room. No bath. There was a wedding at the hotel on saturday and it was impossible to access the bar area to relax. Hotel guests from the wedding were running and shouting in the hallways at 02.00 in the morning. No iron in the room, when we asked for one it was going to be sent up and never arrived so we needed to call again in the morning for one. No room in car park.Door slamming in the hotel throughout the night. Hydraulic bars need to be attached to doors to avoid this constant iritation. The pillows need to be replaced - they are old and flat and very uncomfortable.Breakfast very expensive, room small. Pretty basic for a hotel that describes itself as "boutique hotel". I was expecting more nice touches. We had a yellow stain on our sheet and the bathroom wasn't too clean, considering the price.I travel all over and have been in cleaner B+B's, but still enjoyed our stay. We got room next to elevator (probably the following holds for any room)that's squeaking and humming very loudly - impossible to sleep (evenwith earplugs). They turn the elevator off between 11:30 pm to 7:00 am,but who wants to be rudely awakened like this at 7 am? And we had tocall them every night to remind them of turning the lift off. Neither 4stars nor the price are justified.decor a bit overwhelmingly purple. The service in the cocktail bar and the restaurant was atrocious. Nobody knew what they were doing and didnt even check what room we were in when we charged our bill to our room. Ordered room service and it didn't arrive. The parking was bad (although I know sometimes this cannot be helped). I didn't like it, it was rather tastelessly decorated. Breakfast was expensive and not good. I wouldn't have had it if I had known it wasn't included. Gym only open till 7 pm. Bar staff hopeless. The breakfast was a joke and ourselves and five other tables walked out. We did not get our wake up call and found the common parts to be tatty. The lift was old and was switched off after 11pm, and we were on the 4th floor, which was very awkward. Room was not lacking a fridge, iron, toiletries, and the kind of things you'd expect from a king room in a 4* hotel!. The customer service was not up to standard at all and the facilities were not available. Filthy carpets in bedroom and fourth floor landing. Shelf nearly fallingoff wall. No plug in sink. Broken floor tiles in elevator. Generally inpoor repair.Room very small, windows dirty, carpet shabby. I think it was rundown and badly needed painting.cracks in room wall and the bathroom had mold in the cracked wall.Yes - it appeared when we arrived that they had not got one of ourbookings. Both rooms we put in were the smallest roomsi have ever stayedin and the one they appear to have forgotten inmyopinion were put in theroom reserved for cockups - there was no bathno hairdryer, n toiletriesand a drawmmissing in the bedside table All in all we were v disapointed. Staying in a very small room next to a lift shaft!. This hotel claims to have been refurbished but if it has this was obviously done very cheaply. There were several things broken in our room, staines on all the carpets. We had to move rooms once as we were behind a old lift shaft that made a constant noise. This hotel is over priced at £130 a room no including breakfast and £15 for car parking. We would not go to this hotel again. no airconditioning couldn't open window because of the piegons and smell. pounding from people above at night and in the morning. the first room they gave us did not even have a bath it was infact a disables room, the secone room was very small and very very cold, the food we had we had to send back 2 times and still my husband was served raw sea bass and was very sick.
