Really friendly people. Roger was tremendous, could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is outstanding. Bridport itself is charming. We were here for a wedding and this hotel was an excellent choice. The room was beautiful, clean and nice and warm! Lovely tea service in room. The breakfast was great, had kippers that were smoked down the street! Brought the dog and they were completely accommodating.

What appeared to be the sole member of staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast. Although the room was fine for my husband and I (we are both quite short!) The ceiling was very low and this would have been a problem if we had been taller. It would help if that was clearly advertised on your website. Everything else was great. Rooms at the front of the hotel are quite noisy. We were in the attic, lovely though fairly hot and during the summer you would need to open the window but would then get traffic noise. That the heating wasn't on when we arrived. Bathroom floor cold to bare feet. traffic quite noisy but didn't really bother us too much. I liked everything. Rather expensive for bed and breakfast. Steep stairs to room on the top floor. We were disappointed that the restaurant wasn't open on the evening we stayed. We struggled to find an evening meal as everywhere in Bridport was fully booked. Traffic noise on our first night but got used to it and after the first night it did not bother us, but next time will ask for a back room. Restaurant closed for refurbishment. Lack of restaurant in evening. No food available in restaurant. Poor internat connection in room. Poor shower. Bed was too soft. Room tired not worth the money charged very over priced. Room was very small, with no room to store any luggage. Car park had deep gravel, making it impossible to pull wheeled cases across it. Breakfast room was stifling, despite a ceiling fan. Restaurant was closed. Hotel position is by a busy road and roundabout, so noisy. Despite a "refurbishment" programme the full rack rate was being charged. No evening meal, bar closed at 11pm, room very small. more like a 2 star.
