Friendly greeting by owners son, polite and helpful staff, quiet room which was clean and tidy. Room equipped with TV, fridge and WiFi.
Excellent cooked breakfast and access to facilities if needed to prepare own food in the evening.
the whole stay was enjoyable. we were made to feel very welcome right from our arrival. the lady who cooked the breakfast was charming, and met all our criteria regarding our breakfast. we would use this hotel again.alle bewertungen »
The room and en-suite were spotless, extras such as tea/coffee/biscuits, iron, hairdryer all included. Room nice and warm. Breakfast room lovely, welcoming lots of choice. Friendly people.
Bedroom very clean, excellent shower. Very nice breakfast, tea making facillities, buiscuits, crisps in room. Staff very pleasant.
More relaxed and unobtrusive than a B&B. Well maintained. Very nice en-suite. Friendly staff.
Quiet Surroundings, Free Wifi, Good breakfast. Very friendly people. Clean room and bathroom.
It was quiet and peaceful. The staff (family) were attentive., Without
being 'in your face'.
Well-run, clean and with well-equipped rooms, and very good, home-cooked breakfasts.
The staff were brilliant, very clean, breakfast was nice, good location with parking.
Very friendly and helpful. Comfy bed and good shower. Everything you needed.
Lovely staff, crispy clean hotel, great service and a good location.
Warm, clean and good car parking.
Easy parking; friendly accommodating staff; nice breakfast.
Nothing to dislike. However, information on where to get an evening meal within walking distance would have been useful as the pub across the road didn't serve food in the evenings.
Slightly noisy mini-fridge.
A little smaller than expected, no additional facilities. Good food nearby: Stag and Hound (cheap and good) and The Warren (little more expensive, but very good).
Breakfast, potential visitors should be aware before booking that the
food is of the Islamic custom and not traditional English. I missed my
bacon and pork sausage. But no real complaints.
Room slightly smaller than I'd like.
No where to sit other than your room.
Nothing.
The room was only prepared for a single occupancy so we had to keep asking for things that were missing e.g. second towell, second cup and saucer. We also had to wait untill breakfast time to ask for soap and shampoo. Full Englsh cooked breakfast was a bit mean compared to other places we have stayed at.
Couldn't get tv signal despite staff trying; some stains on hall/landing spoilt carpet.
this is not a hotel but a B&B; Breakfast was poor- orange juice rancid, no bacon & sausages off; no staff at hotel on evening of arrival or morning of departure.
