  The most outstanding feature of this hotel is the owner who makes you feel as if you were staying with a friend. I had an ensuite shower in my room which was tucked in quite well, making the most of the space but the bathroom for rooms without facilities was nearby and looked very nice. The location is ideal for local shops, gardens and beach and for bus stops to - Top place, extremely nice lady owner, highly recommended. Very very large room (I had a double with my daughter), nicely furnished, Bathroom was in the hallway, but privat, a little bit awkward, I would have preferred en suite, there was a sink in the room, though. WiFi worked. Enough parking space along the streets. Very quiet residential area, bus stop 3 min away, 5-10 min walk to Boscombe Pier (beach), just perfect. I would definitely book again.

  we stayed at the waterside B&B for two nights - the location is ideal and extremely close walk to the beach. we stayed in the standard room which was spotless, bed very comfortable and hot running water as well as cable TV .. what more could you ask for! Their breakfasts are generous and fresh with healthy options as well as traditional English breakfast. They are very nice hosts who go out of their way to help their guests with good Tourist information. All in all my sister and our four Children had an exeptionally enjoyable stay at the Waterside and we can´t wait until the next stay.

I was running the Bournemouth Half Marathon on Sunday 6th October and I asked Petar on reception if it was possible to delay my checkout by an hour so I could come back to the hotel and shower. He was able to do this and I really appreciated it as I was travelling back to London.

Would highly recommend this hotel - The owners are amazing people. Although I had a reservation for a single room, I stayed in a double one. I needed a plug adapter and I was immediately offered one, while some other colleagues I was with in Bournemouth for a conference and who were accommodated in fancier hotels had to go downtown and buy one. Extremely good value!

  I did like the price. The hotel is in a perfect location, you can walk anywherr from the beach to oceanarium or bournemouth baloon within 5-10 mintes, there is asda and subway nearby. Staff, comfort, location, cleanliness, fresh towels daily, in room tea/coffee making facilities topped up daily. Jorge was welcoming, friendly with good advice on where to go and how to get there. He prepared an early 7am breakfast and ordered a taxi for us on the morning of our departure as we had to catch an early train to London. Overall a very pleasent vacation and if we return to Bourne mouth we will definatly stay in the Shirley again.
