  We absolutely loved Jude, who was very friendly and helpful in every single way. Beautiful eating area, lovely big Scottish breakfast, everything was in a very relaxed way, there was nothing that we couldn't ask Jude about or to help with. The room was first class it even had a wet room. Lastly breakfast in the conservatory was one of the best we've had. Well done Jude.

  The staff/owners were quite cordial and accommodating. The room was quite adequate, clean and above the usual B&B. I quite like that a tea pot was available in the room. Breakfast was a wonderful assortment. I had looked at other bookings, am so delighted to have chosen this one. - Everything was clean, comfortable and of a good standard. Th... was die leute sagen » e breakfasts were absolutely super - such a pleasant change from bacon and eggs - a choice of fish dishes which were all delicious. The owner is maybe a little eccentric, but this only added to the overall enjoyment.

  The hotel was nice and clean, the staff was friendly. Very well priced and well worth it. This was a great location for us as we were visiting friends in Bonnyrigg, so only about a 1 mile away. Plenty of parking for those with a vehicle. Tea and instant coffee in the room was nice - no phones in the room. Took advantage of the breakfasts (and o... was die leute sagen » ne dinner) at the restaurant on site - Table Table. Although away from all the action in Edinburgh, it was easy enough to catch a bus to take in all t - IT was very clean and quiet, the front desk staff were very nice and very helpful to us regarding getting in to sight see in Edinburgh. They suggested that we take the bus due to parking, but we didn't and it was ok. We found parking without a problem. We would definitely recommend it if you are not interested in paying high rates in the actual city but want a nice, clean hotel and have a car to get around.
