  Haven House is a top class B&B on the beautiful Northumbrian coast. The host was very helpful and friendly, the room spacious and clean with excellent facilities, with all those extra things that make a stay special (bathroom toiletries, replacement teas, coffee and biscuits every day.   The rooms very lovely, spacious and nicely decorated. The area where the B & B was situated was beautiful, the added bonus being the friendly horses looking over the wall. The hosts Alan and Linda were very friendly and helpful. Great break, would definitely go back. - The landlords were terrifically helpful to us. They were so kind and genuine, and were as welcoming as family. - We booked for a twin and a double but only 3 of us turned up.We assumed we would be paying for 4, but when we paid our hosts Alan and Linda only charged us for a single and a double.It was a very kind gesture, and they were also good fun and very welcoming.

  I booked Wyndgrove for one night as I could not extend the stay at our previous hotel. We got a great deal being a late booking but it is well worth the rack-rate!   Had a very enjoyable stay at Megstone House. We stayed for just one night as we tried to see as much as Northumberland as possible in a few days. Donna and Paul the couple who owned the B&B are a lovely couple and the house is full of character, very clean and modern. As we were the only couple staying we received star treatment but I'm sure ... was die leute sagen » they are like this with everybody who stays. When we book to go to Northumberland again in the summer we will definitely be staying here. - Megstone House was a fabulous find, immaculate and tastefully decorated 'huge' bedrooms. In a great location for exploring the coast and only a 5 minute stroll into town and the harbour. Donna and Paul are perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them and their breakfast was all you needed to set you up for the day ahead. A very friendly welcome in a warm and cosy home, would definately recommend.
