The Starling Cloud by Marston’s Inns - Fotos
Was die Leute sagen
The quality of the stay was excellent. We could not fault it at all. We has the accessible room 1 with wet room for my disabled wife who found the accommodation excellent. The food dinner and breakfast was really nice with good size portions. Will definitely stay again, value, cleanliness and good food perfect stay.
The staff were incredible, over and above what I have come to expect from Premier Inn etc. I travel regular and have stayed in a number of locations in Aber too. Rooms, perfect! Cleanliness, second to none. Starling Cloud and staff well no praise will suffice! Keep it up, we wont use anywhere else in Aber again.alle bewertungen »
Usually you need to check-in to this hotel by 10pm, but as our train did not arrive until midnight I informed to hotel and they arranged a late check in for us.
Hotel was very conveniently located for us as we had a meeting 1st thing the following morning at the nearby Land Rover dealership.
The room was clean and tidy with onsuite shower room, good sized TV plenty tea coffee ect provided, good full english breakfast with all cereals, fruit juices ect, and the STAFF were very smart polite and helpful *****.
Price first. Comfortable room, food good, which is nothing unusual for
Marston's, except tasty sweet potato fries. Wonderful and much
appreciated service in Welsh language by one particular member of
waiting staff.
For the money, in Aberystwyth, this hotel is really good value for money. Plenty of parking, short walk to town, and nice restaurant. Very comfy, great facilities for a hotel, and modern, warm and dry.
plesant atmosphere both for sleeping and dining. staff were execellent in helping whatever we needed with a smile always. room was comfortable price was very good. well done thanks.
Plenty of parking.
Easy to find.
Warm, comfortable, clean and modern.
Excellent room and on site facilities.
Great restaurant and bar.
Excellent staff, always friendly and helpful.
The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, with a extremely good shower in the en suite - always a bonus!
Breakfast was hearty and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
I wrongly booked the room on the net for the following night. The receptionist kindly gave us a room on the night we were there for the same price. The room was clean and large.
Starling Cloud is a great place to stay in Aberystwyth. Well worth £60/night B&B. Breakfast is excellent and the adjacent pub is great for evening meals and lunches too.
What's not to like?
Charming staff, pleasant comfortable room, good parking facilities and really excellent breakfast.
Real value for money.
This was a lovely place in a brilliant location. Good for exploring the countryside nearby. Would stay again when in the area.
Fabulous pub with good meals. Rooms in separate secure building, good size and very clean. Definitely recommend.

Great place to stay......quality accommodation with excellent food in evenings and a good breakfast.
everything was first class would stay there any time we are down in wales cheers for great stay.
The fact it was a separate annex and a generous breakfast.
Always like a biscuit in my room.
Perfect for me right next to my meeting venue.
Simple, clean with good size room.
Manager resolved breakfast issue by organising late breakfast for two.
The rooms are very comfortable and the hotel is in a quiet location.
Friendly, helpful staff. Clean room, very clean bedding and towels.
Had a super good value meal in a beautifully presented restaurant.
clean and new,
good breakfast.
friendly ..even at 2am check-in.
Very clean and the staff were most helpful well presented....
as indicated above plus super parking facilities.
The cleanliness struck us - it was excellent.
rooms clean and tidy breakfest lovely.
Good clean room with good service.
Couldn't fault anything.
Nice and modern.
food was excellent ,clean rooms smart new facilities.
Cleanliness, staff.
The fact that she was the only one to reply to me in Welsh.
&Quot;Diolch" and basic greetings are easy courtesies to learn,
they show politeness and respect for the individual and should be used
to Welsh speakers in Wales.
nothing to say.
Too far from town and promenade so would always need to drive or get a taxi. But taxis were very reasonable.
Hotel reception in restaurant/bar area not the best idea as it made checking in and room queries awkward and inconvenient.
Not very cosy room, just a room of a chain of hotels.
Wood was abit to dark in rooms but Thats a small down side. Everything else was perfect.
If the Annex was full it may be rather noisy- (Stud Walls) we only had 3 other occupied rooms.
Soap dispensers in bathroom both empty, some cleanliness issues need to be addressed in the bathroom of the hotel dirty skirting boards and floor areas.
nothing...perfect !!.
Nothing.
Advised of incorrect breakfast times at book in. Times not posted in room or website so told missed breakfast at 9:10am.
The reception desk for the hotel is located in the pub itself, as opposed to the hotel building, which proved slightly awkward.
No drawers and a walk in shower would be better than a bath. The option of twin beds.
The heat when you entered the accomodation area,(it was over powering).when you went through the second entry automatic doors.
AT 22.00 hrs. 80% of the seating area for drinking was unavailable due to the tables being laid for breakfast the next day..
The name Starling Cloud. In the heartland of Welsh speaking Wales Marston's should have chosen a Welsh name for this facility.
bathroom steamed up.
Double Glazing that leaked and whistled
A TV with loads of channels and no channel guide.
little bit confused on where to pick keys up for the room, would of been good to have a sign on the external door of the building when you get there.
impersonal attitude ,sofa bed was uncomfortable even for kids went first to block marked reception, told via intercom to check in at pub.
Bed was rock hard no telephone in room -required more pillows and iron-
had to go to pub. No assitance after 11pm when pub closed - had to walk
through car park in the rain for assistance.
