  The old city of Mardin ended up being one of the best places we visited in Turkey and the hotel likewise one of the best we stayed in. It is ideally located both to explore Mardin and for its views over the Mesopotamian plain below. We stayed in a deluxe double room, 207 and it was terrific. It had a balcony which was lovely to sit on and just en... was die leute sagen » joy the view and justified the extra cost on its own. The bathroom was probably the best we had in our time in Turkey. The large showerhead and spacio - The hotel is situated in Mardin town centre. From several rooms, terraces and the breakfast room there are great views over Mesopotamia. Rooms are spacious, very clean, good bath rooms, heating, TV, WiFi and some have a balcony. The breakfast buffet was very good. Staff was helpfull and could speak English or German. The hotel offers a car with an experienced driver for 60 Euros a day plus fuel and lunch for the driver. We strongly recommed to use this service as it is difficult for foreigners

  Though the room was small it was well arranged and comfortable. We asked for a quiet room and were very happy with the absence of noise and disturbance etc. Very pleasant staff. - Good location. Bed was small, just like the other Ibis Hotels, but new and clean room with reasonable price.

  the staff was helpful and by our request they recomended a very nice Turkish restaurant ( beyaz Hann) for a good dinner. the location is very good - Good location. Short walk to the old town. Clean. Good breakfast and restaurant, bar area. Very nice rooms. Internet works well.

  Everyone there is extremely friendly and they made me feel very welcomed as soon as I stepped out of the car in the yard. The location is excellent, very close to the summit of Mount Nemrut. It is perfect if you want to watch the sunrise at the top (the major attraction there) and be back for breakfast. I enjoyed very much the se - Great position, close to Mt Nemrut. We enjoyed dinner at the Pension which is also good value. Rooms are simple but clean & warm. Mt Nemrut is great to visit & worth the climb... We read before hand it was going to be cold & we were prepared... It really, really is cold with the day we visited a sharp wind.... Cover your ears, take a sleeping bag... What ever it takes. Particularly if staying for sunset. As soon as you stop walking it's incredibly cold.
