The building is a historic one, after the restoration. Living in a tradition house is a special experience for travelers. Staff is extremely kind and helpful! Breakfast is quite simple but absolutely enough to start your day in Istanbul!

  A budget friendly hotel in a great location. The hotel is located in the heart of the old city, about 5 min walk from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cistern, etc. The tram station is also a few minutes walk. The locations is GREAT - 2 min walk to Aya Sofia and Sultanahmet Camii, 5 min walk to Gulhane Park, 10 min walk to Galata Bridge. The tram station is also a few minutes walk. I loved the fact that the merchants on the street are like one big family and willing to help out anyone. Very safe and entertaining area.   The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. It was good to be able to talk to fluent English speakers. The room was quiet and very clean. Being able to use the terrace and internet any time was much appreciated.

The view was just breathtaking, so surreal. The night manager (I think his name was Usman) was a good guide point to various areas and activities. The hotel itself is rather small, just enough room to put your bags and walk to you bed, but it is what you pay for.

We were offered a drink on arrival and sat with the owner one night after dinner and were treated to Turkish coffee and tea which was a nice little touch. The staff were all very accommodating as you would expect for a small family run hotel/bnb. The breakfast was pleasant and consisted of tea/coffee a few cheeses, cereal and boiled eggs. We had a lovely time staying at Seatanbul apart and would definitely recommend it to our friends.
