  Ich war bereits mehrmals in dem Hotel und für mich ist es eines der besten Hotels in der Welt....Sehr zu empfehlen sind die Business Zimmer mit dem damit verbundenen Service - Super Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, Gute Bewirtung in der Kategorie

  The history: Agatha Christie wrote her [Murder on the Orient Express] at this hotel. There is a small exhibition area on the fourth floor about this and other historic moments. The Breakfast - A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!
