  We loved the peaceful location (especially after a week in hectic Istanbul) and the rugged beauty of the mountain environment. In the heat of summer, it was blissful returning to the pleasant, cooler air at Black Tree after a day's sightseeing. The staff were very hospitable and friendly. We enjoyed the swimming pool and lounging in the comfortable - We really enjoyed our stay, but for me 3 nights was enough. The location is high up and there is nothing else for miles so going out takes a bit of planning. The on request pony and donkey rides were a little child's dream, and Anthea's (the owner) creatively kept all the kids engaged and busy. The home cooked food was very reasonable, and most of it came from the farm.   After taking a decision to spend a couple of days around Fethiye, we zeroed down on this absolute gem of a property in Kabak. As you leave the town of Ölüdeniz and start the 30 min climb upto Kabak, you are welcomed with fascinating views of the Mediterranean Sea. We hiked in and out, and I wish we had stayed 2 nights in order to go to the beach for one day.
