  We stayed in decent and stylish, big modern and well equipped room, spacious bathroom and spotless clean, safe, comfortable, hot water, and a super cool A/C room. All in all, is a cool place and best value ever, absolutely recommendable guesthouse! - We needed to be in Negombo for a wedding and this guest house was good value for money. The room was cleaner than expected and the owner was able to welcome us at 2am in the morning. There is a cafe serving breakfast right next door so don't worry about it being bed only. It was worth walking the streets in the evening as lots of restaurants and trinket shops are open. Overall a nice place to stop for 1 night.

  We stayed at this hotel for last three nights before leaving the Sri- Lanka. As we have already visited all planned places of interest, we only needed a calm relaxing stay near the ocean. The rooms are large enough, well furnitured and clean. Though most of facilities looks used and are asking for update, everything works perfectly: a/c, fan, TV, ... was die leute sagen » shower etc. The restaurant has a good variety of dishes in the menu, buffet breakfast offers nice choice of food too. But what really impressed us was - Loved our stay here. The pool is clean. The bar has cold beer and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. The buffet breakfast is great. The staff were friendly and helpful.The rooms good, but we had little hot water if any some days. It is easy to get about Negombo with the many tuk tuks. Some good restaurants close by. I would recommend this hotel.

I had planned to eat at Lords on the second night but it was closed - I had no qualms at all about just heading back to the hotel and eating there.   We really enjoyed our stay in the Hotel. We stayed for 4 nights. When we arrived the swimming pool had maintenance and we were not allowed to swim next 2 days. After we complained that main reason for choosing this hotel was because of the swimming pool, they agreed with the workers that they had to finish same day.   I was a solo traveler and liked the fact that it felt very safe there and like a bit of a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of outside. There is an ayurvedic (a bit rustic, but no problem here) adjacent to the hotel which was great and there was a beach chair in front so if you want to get away from the other tourists it's possible to have your... was die leute sagen » own little space there. The front desk staff was very gracious and even sent out someone to get pain medication for me when I wasn't feeling well. - We arrived here in the evening after a tiring journey so the comfy beds were really appreciated. The room had a patio from which you could see and hear the sea, it's a beautiful view. The food was excellent and good value and the staff are really friendly and very helpful. We were here for 5 days sunbathing, reading books and swimming in the pool. I'd definitely stay here again and use it as a base for going further afield.

Very nicely decorated and staffs were very friendly! We even had a nice patio where we had our supper (we bought our own food on the way there). Wifi connection was good and mosquito nets provided.
