  The position was fabulous. Right on the beach and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We asked for Ananda to get us fish and sea food and we had two amazing meals of jumbo prawns crab and para fish . The hotel is simple but with a lot of charm and atmosphere right at a beautiful beach not spoiled by tourism yet.   The location was excellent. Calmer part of the beach. We stayed in a Deluxe ocean front room and had a beautiful view. Very friendly and helpful staff. 15 minute walk from the train station or a 150 lkr tuk- tuk ride. The buffet breakfasts were very impressive, western options as well as some Sri Lankan options. We had our first snorkeling experience and it was truly amazing what we saw, including sea turtles and hundreds of different fish species. Do not miss that!
