After booking I received an email not only to confirm booking and request estimated arrival time, but also with a detailed map and instructions from the train station and bus terminal.
The room was good, clean, and warm, and value for money.
Upon requesting assistance with additional arrangements, the staff could not do enough to help make everything work better for me.
A great place for a stopover or spend a couple days to explore beautiful Salamanca. alle bewertungen »
The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great for walking into the old town. Good value for money. It didn't look much from the outside, but inside it was clean and comfortable. You had to go the third floor to reach the hotel, but there was a lift. It was easy to park close by, if you were willing to get up in the morning and feed the machine at 9 o'clock.
Raquel, the owner, was very pleasant and helpful and put herself out to introduce me to other English-speaking guests, rescue me when I had difficulty with keys, allowed me to leave baggage and even left my room as last to be cleaned so that I could have it as long as possible.
The staff were excellent. Raquel in particular made a huge effort to make conversation with me in spanish at a speed that I could understand.
Lovely place, helpful & friendly hosts Mario and Raquel.
Good price and location, frendly personnel.
The location is good, lots of cafes/bars to visit. Old town is nice and all monuments etc were pointed out on map given by receptionist.
Location. Staff friendly and gave good recommendations on where to eat.
Friendly host.
Salamanca is a place to spent more time as there is a lot to see and it is very beautiful.
Free advice, if you're late (bus/train is late) let the staff know.
Upon my late arrival (1hr late), the hostel was deserted. Having to search the surrounding area for a lend of a phone to call up the staff (who had emailed me, then gone to lunch) was not a great experience.
Not all their fault, not all my fault, a bit of both.
Nothing. It would be hard to fault it for the price.
The only slight problem is that owners don't live on the premises but nearby. However, I was contacted re time of arrival and they came across to meet me.
The noise from the bar downstairs at 2 am. However when I was in the bar downstairs at 2 am, the noise didn't bother me.
nothing.
Room was small, shower/bath very small and shower wasnt fixed to wall so nightmare to wash hair.. Hardly any storage, not even a shelf in the bathroom, set up generally wasnt great! Ok for 1 night stopover but any longer for two people is bit too small!.
Room was very small and cold at night.
room was to small for 4 beds. Room was congested and not relaxing. Batchroom was not as expected for this price category. We stayed only 1 night and compared to other locations on a 3 weeks round trip in Spain and Portugal this was the worst price/quality location. Not recommended for 2 parents and 2 children.
