  Porto Novo apartments are in a great location, just a short walk to the beach. They are great value for money, basic but very clean. Friendly staff and very helpful. Our room was cleaned every day by a very pleasant lady. José on Reception was very helpful and always available.   A fantastic hotel and good value for the money! We had a nice and spacious studio with a window partly facing the sea. Unfortunately there are no balconies but we could hear the waves at least. The street noise was not bad at all. Very clean bathroom. Good buffet breakfast. Fantastic and helpful staff. The staff was helpful and informed us of several deals they had with nearby restaurants (E.G. 7.5 euros for a 3 course sea food dinner), even made a call to make reservations and gave us directions to get around the city. Nice restaurants and bars close to the hotel. The price was good and the room was big and comfortable. Free and well functioning wi-fi all over the hotel.

Wifi is reasonably priced, a must when travelling with teenagers! Cannot - The best thing about Rio Piedras Apartments was the location. They are situated on street level so no hills to climb and were only 5 minutes from the beach and less than 10 minutes from the commercial centre with all its vibrant nightlife, lots of bars, restaurants and shops. The rooftop pool was just the place for our 2 teenage girls and the restaurant was lovely too. The staff were brilliant and looked after us very well.
