  The Hospederia was an old Hospital for Pilgrams and a monastery. It has been fixed up with rooms. The staff were helpful. The rooms clean as well as the bathhrooms. The breakfasts were routine buffet style and more than adequate. I had one meal ( lunch) in the dining room. They serve a Menu del Dia. Once again budget friendly , not a gourmet meal ... was die leute sagen » however service fast and friendly. It is close to the cathedral and having completed the Camino de Compestela it was a good place to unwind without ha - I liked everything! It's right beside the Cathedral. The building itself is beautiful, the rooms are basic but very clean. Breakfast was lovely, all staff were very helpful. The city is Santiago is beautiful, it's definitely a place I will go back to and would recommend it to everyone. There's such a good atmosphere there, everyone is relaxed and friendly.

  Excellent I feel is a very rate for this hotel. However I would certainly rate it higher than average. A rate of 4.5 I feel would be a more accurate rate. I enjoyed my stay at your hotel. The bacon and egg breakfast I had is one of the tastiest breakfasts I have eaten in a long time. - I highly recommend this place. The staff brought me food to my room, and kept an eye on how I was doing. They were extremely kind and helpful . Also spoke English .

  We stayed as a family of 4 at the Montes Pension Boutique as a city break to Santiago in July. The location is perfect, just around the corner from the cathedral and main square. Staff extremely friendly and couldn't be more helpful. The rooms are spotless, airy and bright with wonderful views from the balcony onto the square. As advertised there is no air conditioning but don't open windows. There is a serious fly problem in this area due to nearby farms.
