  This was our first trip to Yigo after many trips to other areas of Spain. We only spent 1 night here which could have been more. The staff and owners are very attentive and helpful. They recommended a restaurant down the way for eating fish and seafood which was very local and had the best seafood ever! The shower in our room was very nice and had easy access. The bed w - Everything. This hotel is wonderfull. The location is perfect, at the apex of the waterfront, the grand avenues and the old city. A beautiful old building completely refurbished, and rooms were well appointed. The owners are very professional and very personable, and attentive to small details. I recomended this hotel to anyone. A 4 star hotel at 3 star prices.

Ours had a spa tub and views of the river. This is an undiscovered part of Spain well worth a visit, especially if you enjoy long walks and hikes. Otherwise, just relax with a book and enjoy the majestic views and delicious food. - O Remanso dos Patos is a little gem of a hotel, situated in the truly beautiful Ribeira Sacra region. The hotel is full of character, and the restaurant is a delight. There is a lovely little swimming pool which is ideal for cooling off after a day's sightseeing- especially welcome as we arrived during a heat wave! Natasha, Antony and the rest of their staff were very kind and helpful.

  We had no problems parking-and ended up seeing the hotel as soon as we emerged from the garage-perfect! It's right next to the police station, so very quiet and safe (not that other parts of the city aren't). It was a very short walk to the cathedral and the city was fantastic to wander through. The heat was on, there was a hair dryer for me to use, they even had an electric kettle and tea sitting in our room - It was excellent in all ways * it was clean, nicely designed , bright, warm, open and friendly , just around the corner from the cathedral, but with ready access to taxis too. the staff , Diego and the young woman (whose name I didn't get) were exceptionally friendly and helpful ~~ in short a delightful place !! I d stay there again ~~)

  We were welcomed by Pablo who was amazing, funny and so so helpful. We arrived late but it was no trouble for him to prepare tasty food for all 9 of us and a lovely glass of wine. Breakfast was realy good with lovely bacon and eggs which set us up for the day. Location was so close to the start of the Camino. The food was the best we had had on the Camino. We were able to eat early in the evening. The room was simple but comfortable and warm with everything we needed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting an overnight stay in Sarria.
