  We had no problems parking-and ended up seeing the hotel as soon as we emerged from the garage-perfect! It's right next to the police station, so very quiet and safe (not that other parts of the city aren't). It was a very short walk to the cathedral and the city was fantastic to wander through. The heat was on, there was a hair dryer for me to use, they even had an electric kettle and tea sitting in our room - It was excellent in all ways * it was clean, nicely designed , bright, warm, open and friendly , just around the corner from the cathedral, but with ready access to taxis too. the staff , Diego and the young woman (whose name I didn't get) were exceptionally friendly and helpful ~~ in short a delightful place !! I d stay there again ~~)

  What can I say !! This is a beautiful little apartment overlooking Inmaculada Square. One could also see the Cathedral. We arrived at Plaza Do Obradoiro where I parked and Lavinia went off to find Ines the owner of the apartment.Ten minutes later she arrived with Ines in Ines' car. We transferred our luggage and then followed Ines to the car park ... was die leute sagen » where I parked my car [10.50 Euro per day] Then it was off to the apartment where we met Paulo, Ines' friend who payed a major roll in getting our lug - There are nothing bad to talk about this place. The location is perfect, behind of La Catedral de Compostela (the main church) and right in the middle of the old city, full of restaurants, souvenirs stores and bars. The room is very comfortable, like a small apartment with new facilities and a very good view. Ines, the hostess, is best friend you could have in your stay. She will try her best to make you feel comfortable and tell you everything you must see/do, do not forget to have a nice talk

Otherwise, just relax with a book and enjoy the majestic views and delicious food. - O Remanso dos Patos is a little gem of a hotel, situated in the truly beautiful Ribeira Sacra region. The hotel is full of character, and the restaurant is a delight. There is a lovely little swimming pool which is ideal for cooling off after a day's sightseeing- especially welcome as we arrived during a heat wave! Natasha, Antony and the rest of their staff were very kind and helpful.
