Staff were lovely always very helpful. Hotel is a in walk from the llacuna metro stop and it's about 10mins into las ramblas! The area itself is lovely right on la rambla poblenou which is full of bars and restaurants and leads down to the sea front from there it's a stroll to the Olympic port which has more bar clubs and restaurants we loved our stay and the location. They nicely upgraded my room from the tiny budget single-bed cupboard and shower I was planning on having to a very decently plush double-bed room with balcony and full bath! The hotel was not full in October, so they could do that.
The room I had tended to the luxury end of the spectrum (safe, svelte lighting, large modern painting above the bed, swanky bathroom).without quite getting there (tiny 10in deep cupboard). Other times in the same hotel I've had the "budget" version room!
