  I found Vista Bonita to be very cosy, friendly and accommodating. The hotel wasn't overlooked so privacy was great and as we were high up on the mountain side out views were amazing. A quiet, relaxing, hotel in a fantastic location was just what I wanted and received. Everything from a Spar to buy essentials, bars and restaurants to the sandy dun... was die leute sagen » es were just on my doorstep. I loved the upstairs downstairs apartment i felt very at home there and found it met all my needs. The hotel isn't too b - It was very relaxing, very pleasant and warm host, it was clean, loved the location as it gave you a feeling of being in a community once you came onto the street. The hot jacuzzi was just absolutely lovely especially late in the evenings. Unlike other apartments, it had two floors with a toilet downstairs and a toilet shower upstairs, that was definitely a bonus as you could entertain downstairs get to know the person prior to moving upstairs if you wanted to (ps: i was a solo traveller ..lol)

The hotel was locked when we arrived, but the owners live across the street and arrived quickly after calling the number on the door. We received both a room key and a key to the lobby door, so access was no problem despite no staff after breakfast.   We lived in a spacious juniorsuite with great views of sea and forest. The staff was lovely and very helpful. There were good hikingtracks closeby, the best: Los Tilos. We rented a car for the whole stay and drove around the island to explore every day. The hotel was a very good base to get back to in the evening (especially the jacuzzi!). We bot - We really enjoyed this hotel. We had an enormous and comfortable room with a patio overlooking the pine covered slopes down to the sea of the north coast of La Palma. Great location for walkers and lots were there. Very friendly and helpful staff including a Brit (? manager or owner) who recommended a lovely route for the next day and gave us a book with pictures of La Palma to read in the cosy bar with a log fire before dinner.
