  Fantastic hotel and owners! The beautiful small hotel is laying between two amazing natural parks (better to have a car). The hotel is perfect for people who like to hike and enjoy the quiet surroundings. The view from the large and luxurious rooms is spectacular! They also know a lot of the region, the history, the highlights and where to go. You can have a good breakfast and a delicious diner - This is my second time at the hotel and the owners were so lovely! I am vegetarian and they took care to prepare me special delicous vegetarian meals everyday! Kepa also showed me the vegetable patch this time. We were also invited to watch as he trimmed the sheep's coats!! The couple are really warm and welcoming. As always, the place is beautiful, a real gem :) Also renovations have been done so its bigger and nicer.

The rooms and breakfast are pricey - This is our kind of hotel - small but beautifully appointed, very comfortable rooms, excellent food, interesting village and very friendly, helpful staff. The included breakfast was superb and the coffee excellent. We handed our evening wine selection to the most knowledgeable expert, Jean-Marie, who never let us down. All the staff were wonderful and even those who said they 'did not speak English' did so very well. The extended research we did to locate our hotel in La Rioja really paid off w
