  Our villa was very nicely furnished, everything had a touch and harmonizing design, certainly not cheap as you usually come across in under 100 euro accommodations. Good quality bathroom. Breakfast was included in the price and was a nice surprise. The parking options were ok, but it was off season time.   We stayed in Cortijo La Loma during one week in July. Adrian, the owner, came to pick us up at the bus stop in Pitres. He's very friendly and keen to help out in any way he could. The cortijo is really beautiful, the house was clean and everything is very well looked after.The pool is really big and good to swim in.   We had a very good welcome despite not being able to communicate fully with each other. Our room was small but comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was simple but very good (with the family parrot chirping volubly in the background!) and other meals could be had two minutes along the street in a couple of good restaurants serving local food... was die leute sagen » at very reasonable prices. Francisco was very helpful with photocopies of super walks in the area. There is a tiny well stocked supermarket just ac - A perfect place to stay with the most amazing views of the mountains. The walks right from the doorstep was great and the owner was really helpful in suggesting walks for us. we loved the parrot who would chatter away at breakfast. The terrace out the back was perfect for an afternoon sunbathe or read. It is right in the village and close to several good restaurants.

  Wow! Absolutely amazing views. Most of the other hotels were on the other side of the road so would not have had access to the views. The lady who runs the place is so accommodating, very informative and hospitable. The breakfast for €3 is a bargain! The lady has a great book on local walks. We did an 'easy' 3 hour trek. The owner was fantastic- she could not do enough to make our stay very enjoyable. It was a rustic place with great character and was probably our highlight for accommodation during our month in Spain. Great walks, beautiful scenery,pretty villages. Great setting and wonderful host.
