Superb buffet breakfasts and good Catalan menu. I recommend the Bloody Mary made by Pedro !

  Nice smallish hotel just around from the main square and beach so conveniently located. Nice friendly staff and lovely buffet breakfast with omelettes or fried eggs freshly cooked by the owner. They were delicious. Try and book the rooftop jacuzzi as it is nice and relaxing and has great views of the bay. Great breakfast - Nice selection, garden picked tomatoes, plums, etc. Omelettes made to order. Location - one block from the beach, all the convenience of being close, but without the noise of the main strip. We stayed 7 nights and loved La Muntanya - it's the place to stay in Llafranc!

The food in the restaurant is delicious - red wine and simple tapas in front of the fire during the colder, rainy weather was also a treat.   The hotel has been run by the same family since 1930 when it was either the first or one of the first hotels in Llafranch. Three generations (female) take turns at Reception and they are all very helpful, and friendly as is. the old family dog Perla that my children adored.
