  Absolutely loved the Casa de Madrid- easily one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed. All the staff were exceptionally friendly, nothing was too much trouble, really genuinely lovely people taking great care to make our holiday as good and memorable as it could be. Very friendly staff provided good help on the train schedule and wifi in short/late time. We met the hostress when leaving at the door and she was a nice lady! Unique experience and strongly recommend to those people interested in culture.

  Hostal Veracruz is very nice and has clean rooms with AC and own bathrooms. It is very close to Sol, so really in very center of Madrid and Spain.   The location of the hotel - I was travelling with a suitcase and the hotel is literally just around the corner from a metro stop. The staff were very helpful - very centrally located for main attractions. - Amazing location, friendly staff who provided any assistance required regarding directions etc. Basic but comfortable room.

Staff were friendly and you can leave your luggage there after checking out. I felt like being at home rather then a privat mini hotel (especially after four days). The rooms were cleaned every day which includes fresh towels (to my very own surpise).   Kept clean every day. The cleaning lady also does the dishes. Close by a metro station and a supermarket. Free Wifi - good location close to metro station and constant wifi connection. The kitchenette was also handy.
